No. This is a manual personal expense tracker. It does not connect to bank accounts, hold funds, send payments, or provide cryptocurrency services.
The app records amounts in US dollars (USD). It does not perform currency conversion. Check the original currency before restoring an older backup.
No. We do not collect or store the transactions, budgets, or wallet records you enter in the app. They stay on your device or, for the web tracker, in your browser. We cannot recover them for you. Keep your own backup. If you contact support or visit this website, email and hosting services may process information as explained in the privacy policy.
You can save a JSON backup using the native app's Files interface and restore it later. Restoring replaces current records after confirmation. Backups are readable files, so keep them somewhere private. There is no automatic synchronization with the web tracker.
Yes. Delete individual transactions or use Settings → Delete all data in the native app. Exported files and device backups are managed separately in the service where you saved them.
For help with the app, contact Jose Faustino.
Your transactions, descriptions, categories, budgets, and appearance settings are stored locally on your device. We do not collect, receive, retain, or sell these app records. The native app does not transmit them to Jose Faustino, a developer-operated server, or a third-party analytics or advertising service. There is no account system, tracking SDK, bank connection, or automatic cloud synchronization.
The app uses iOS file protection for saved records. Local storage is not a substitute for keeping a backup: uninstalling the app or losing access to your device may remove or make those records unavailable.
You choose whether to export a JSON backup or CSV report, and where to save it through the iOS Files interface. A destination may be local storage or a cloud service you select. Exported files are readable and are not password-protected by this app.
Apple's device backup services may include app data according to your device settings. Apple and any storage provider you select operate under their own privacy terms. The app does not automatically synchronize records with the web tracker.
This product-information page does not include advertising, third-party analytics scripts, external fonts, or a contact form. Its interactive examples use fictional data and do not save your input. The website's hosting service may process ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and access logs, to deliver pages and operate its infrastructure.
If you use the separate web tracker, its transactions, budgets, and theme preference are stored in that browser's local storage. These financial records are not uploaded to us or automatically shared with the native app. Clearing browser storage may delete those records; keep an exported backup.
If you email contact@josebudgetapp.com, Jose Faustino receives your email address, message, and anything you choose to attach. This information is used to respond to your request. Your email provider and the receiving email service also process the message according to their own policies.
Please do not send passwords, banking credentials, or financial records that are not needed for your support request. You can contact the same address to ask about a support message or request its deletion.
You can edit or delete transactions, export your data, or select Settings → Delete all data in the native app. Deleting app records does not remove previously exported files or copies in device backups. Manage those through the relevant storage or backup service.
No account deletion is needed because the app does not create an account. For questions about privacy or support information you have sent, email the address above.
This page will be updated if the app's data practices change. The date at the top identifies the current policy. For privacy questions, contact Jose Faustino at contact@josebudgetapp.com.

Tap +, enter an amount in USD, a description, category, and date, then Save. Tap a transaction to edit it. Swipe left to delete, then confirm.
In Overview, select a month and tap Edit under Monthly budget. Enter 0 to remove the limit. Your balance uses all entries; monthly summaries use the selected month.
In Settings, choose Export backup and save the JSON file somewhere private. Use Restore backup to import it. Restoring replaces existing records after confirmation.
Export a backup before changing devices. Restore it using Files on the new phone. There is no automatic sync with the website. Verify that imported amounts were originally USD.
Open Settings → Appearance and choose Light, Dark, or System. The native app remembers your choice.
Delete individual transactions or select Settings → Delete all data. Copies you exported remain wherever you saved them and must be deleted separately.
Check the selected month and search filters first. If a saved file cannot be read, the native app preserves it and prevents ordinary saves until you restore a valid backup. Contact support if you need help; do not uninstall the app before checking your backups.
